One of the issues that we are regularly asked about is how to deal with past periods in timesheets. The example would be where an installation of UniPhi is used for project management but not practice management for a period of time and then the timesheet processes are introduced.

If the financial periods are not closed then the ‘current timesheet period’ will be the first the open financial period which may be 3 or more months in arrears of the current date.

To provide for a consistent process closing the financial periods (generally months) will allow the UniPhi Administrator to bring the timesheets and financial reports up to date and present the ‘current timesheet period’ as ‘this month’
